Fashion night out...

    Happy Fridayyy....Last night I stopped by Dynamite's Best Dressed Party.. I got to meet fashion blogger, Naty!! Her fashion blog is called "A Love Affair with Fashion" she's super cute and extremely trendy.. If you don't follow her blog, start to now.. At first I was nervous to go and see what this was all about but Naty made me feel comfortable right away.. we shared common interest and found out that we are both scorpios!!!! Her birthday is a day after mine (so cool, right?) So we both were looking for birthday suites for our celebrations this weekend.. I had a wonderful time and hope to meet her again(:

        Tonight I will be attending this fashion blogger event in the mall and I have mix emotions with attending. I'm excited but nervous because this is the first time I'm going to something like this and I don't know what to expect. But no worries...details from this event will be posted tomorrow:)
    Now to today's post..  Who say's you can't wear white after labor day?! Clearly not mee.. I'm feeling like Kayne West in my leather quilted sweater. Leather is soooo in this season and I'm loving it!! I bought this fantastic sweater from Express last night and although it was pricey, they are having this huge sale!! Plus you can use coupons with this sale soo it wasn't that expensive after all.

The start of something new...

         Layers upon layers! The weather is slowly getting colder.. (sigh) I've recently developed a new obsessions for layering different textures and fabrics of clothing. Although I despise the cold weather, it allows me to create a variety of different looks as I layer!! Its not a trend I do often, but fashion is all about trying something new and having fun while doing it, so let's have some fun! 

       Today's day 1 of this experiment and let me tell you for an amateur, I  think I did a pretty good job loll.. leather and tweed is a cool simple combo to mix. I purchased these cool leather pants over the weekend and I think I'm going to be wearing them quite often. What I like about them is that they are half leather and half cotton.. soo they can easily be dressed up or down...

Style sis...

     So I'm changing it up a little bit and not blogging about my outfit. I got the honor to style my little sister for our nephews christening over the week and let me tell yahh.. I was pretty excited! I finally got to put my work to the test:) Like myself, Deanna is rocking a little black dress.. Kyle Jenner inspired me with this look because her style is very punk rock. So to complete Deanna's edgy look I added a studded gold necklace with strappy pointed pumps!

    So the big day has come.. baby Everett's chistening day!!!!  We all collectively decided to go with a black and white theme to match the handsome Everett. It was such a huge day for my family.  I was overwhelmed with joy and excitement because I was honored to be Everett's godmother.  I'm such a lucky auntie and I couldn't be happier for my sister Janine and her little family she has started!! Leather me not...

        Happy Fridyy!!! So I never really blog about "going out" attire but this look is the exception..I wore this number last night for my friends wedding rehearsal dinner. The wedding is tomorrow and I'm super excited to be apart of the wedding party!! I felt so sleek and chic in this dress! The great thing with this dress is that it's simple enough to wear as a causal look but sexy enough to wear out for a night on the town!! To finish this look off, I paired it with these fucky taupe studded booties and my rachael zoe inspired leather jacket(:
